I think oda with the luffy vs Blackbeard fight is 100% gonna end up paralleling their beef to something like Popeye and bluto

The little hero, the big oaf rival that their surprisingly similar to or at least can get along with, and the girl they’re fighting over that likes the hero way more

1. Popeye bluto and olive
2. Mickey Pete and Minnie
3. Jumpman Donkey Kong and Pauline
4. Mario bowser and peach/toadstool
5. Fin ice king and bubblegum
6. Others idk

And in Popeyes and blutos case they might not be pirates but they were sailors. Popeye was also created by the same guy that made Tom and Jerry. Something that had a clear impact on oda especially the way he decided to go with g5

As for who’s olive oyl I think it might be shirahoshi. Blackbeard might give up completely on taking Hancock and the only other woman he’s definitely going after will be shirahoshi after finding out she’s Poseidon

Yeah I read it wrong some guy named gene deitch just worked on animating both

So i googled for hanna batbera princess, didnt find anything. Then i google princess moon sun and found that
Amaterasu is Luffy (sun god)
Tsukuyomi is BB (moon god)
Susanoo is imu (ocean god)
