Oda gave the time travel fruit to a woman who: jumped forward in time, got pregnant, sang a dumb song to scare Orochi, and died an avoidable death. I doubt Rouge will get any positive showcasing. As for the Portgas, they'll simply be an important D. family during the void, no more, no less.

Why not just make this prediction on the basis of them being related to Ace lol? And no, there isn´t any reason to think they would be the important D as opposed to the Davy clan, Monkey D´s, probably even Gol D´s etc.

Honestly? I kind of have to wonder if we'll see Rouge on God Valley?

Because, as far as we know, Roger hasn't met Rouge yet. And it'd be kind of poetic if Roger were to help Rayleigh and "get over" Shakky. Then he gets to meet the REAL love of his life. Helping her escape the island, and falling in love with her in the process. It could all be very dramatic and romantic, and I approve of it. Literal explosions happening in the background as they see each other for the first time.

I know we originally saw Rouge on Baterilla, but I don't think they ever said that was her home island. She may have just moved there after getting rescued by Roger.

Plus, if Roger knew that Shanks was the "Child of Destiny"...would Roger want to try and make a "Child of Destiny" of his own? I could see Roger kind of seeing the appeal of also fathering a child with someone who was born on God Valley. Ace might be the result of seeing Shanks and going "yeah...I could make one of those". That might seem a little too cold and calculating for Roger, but...he is a pirate, after all. He isn't without ambition.

But, either way, yes. I agree that Rouge will likely end up somehow being special. At least in the abstract. We could see a "Portgas" ancestor in the Void Century flashback or something.
