Interesting, but i can't see the source. Who translated it? The official translator of the viz?
But judging by the "an older translation said...", i assume it's the same one who translated the scanlation.
In either case, that would certainly help to see potential differences in few things like the Whitebeard statement, the mermaid apparition from 100years which i didn't understand as well if you read the thread in my signature, where it was also mentioned every few centuries:
There is also the timeline-match i'm interested in. Assuming it doesn't come from the viz(which is mentioned to come out the 6th January), i'd see the potential differences when it comes out
