Also fights are an important part of the story and without powerscaling the plot wouldn't make any sense.. Oda has to have his own powerscaling system in his head just like he has a plan for how the series is ending and the overall story..

Shipping is more fan fiction than anything since there are no love between characters for the most part..
l've seen some of the LuNa and SaNa and most of it is like people wanting to see things that aren't really there other than they care for each others..

l do agree to a certain degree, girls are about finding love, guys are about strenght power and it's the counterpart for both genders..
Still Shippings are pretty much meaningless in the context of One Piece and Powerscaling does have meaning..

The difference is this is a battle manga, not a romance manga. Shipping is the furthest thing from relevant in One Piece, the last thing on Oda's mind meanwhile battles are the top priority. So kind of a false equivalency, aka a dumb take to say the least.

The shipping wars are way worse bro. I have made dozens of memes making fun of power scalers (including myself) and all powerscalers can mostly laugh at ourselves.

I made exactly one meme about the shipping wars, and that shit got reported to the mods by several users and I was forced to delete it lmfao.

The premise of the thread is correct but powerscalers don’t want smoke with the ardent shippers. Lol
