Questions & Mysteries Shanks could easily get the onepiece?

Remember shanks was there when the roger pirates got the road poneglyphs, and everything else about the onepiece! Shanks exactly knew their locations, but why he didnt come and get it right away since he got the power and abilities to do it?

What if luffy and shanks promise to each other has to do with it? Luffy knew ever since how strong shanks is that we didnt saw but probably luffy saw it! Luffy promise to Shanks that he would be a great pirate he would find a strong crew and get the onepiece, Shanks literally hold his time looking for onepiece because of his promise to luffy… theyre promise to each other is deep that it has to do with onepiece, and now both of them is so close to onepiece in this point of time..

What do you guys think? Is this the reason why Shanks waited all this time to get the onepiece just because for a kid that he met in a random village in east blue?

If Shanks knew where OP was the whole time, he didnt go for it until someone else finds out where it is.
He might have considered it unfair towards others but I dont remember if he was around when RPs located it.
Might have thought that he isnt worthy of Pirate King without beating Kaido which he couldnt do.
However, he is set up to fail either way. Luffy or Buggy will find the One Piece instead.

Lol he knew the whole story about the poneglyphs shanks and buggy was already going on the laugh tale.. reyleigh already said that all the roger pirates knew what happen..what im trying to say is that he doesnt need poneglpyhs nowhe mightve had a idea where laugh tale is by probably remembering the map when the roger pirates trying to figure about where exactly the laugh tale was
