BB cares for his crew. When fighting Ace he told them to stand back, but he would definitely sacrifice them to achieve his Goal. Thats the difference with him and Luffy. Similar to Doffy, he cares for his crew, but sometimes sacrificees has to be made.

Hmm agree. Forgot about that scene against Ace but considering how he acted on WBs ship and killing his own superior for more power, it won't be out of his character here as well and he came out of his base just for this power too. In current situation it would be good to see his cold and greedy side again considering he came with only just two lower veteran level subordinates along with other fodders.

I’m really curious about Sakazuki’s backstory. The man has fought the Roger Pirates before and also seems very familiar with Dragon. Hopefully Oda doesn’t colossally fuck up his backstory like he did with Crydo and Katakuri. Lol

Marine fodders didn't really occupy Marco, and even if they did Rayleigh is on a whole different level. Nothing is actually revealed in the flashback, we know Oden is good enough to fight these two other than that it was a complete offscreen with no clear matchups.

Nope lol. Did he attempt to even back-talk Rayleigh? Nope lol. Did he clarify that he will return to defeat Rayleigh later? N.O.P.E. Teach just straight up bitched out without even speaking up for himself.

Chapter 1059 yet again reinforces the fact that the Admirals are stronger than these bitchass Yonko. We’ll cut Teach himself a bit of slack as he will undoubtedly continue to grow stronger before EOS, but the Yonko level itself is fucked beyond repair. SSG will wrap up these fodder while the Admirals chill in New Marineford.

For the Roger Pirates-he is right there in the panel with Garp and Kuzan. This was as they set out to interfere with Edd War.

For Dragon-he refers to Luffy specifically as “son of Dragon” multiple times. Literally multiple times lol. If that doesn’t imply Sakazuki has interest in Dragon, I don’t know what does. I think part of Sakazuki’ s Admiral tenure involved trying to locate Dragon and/or chasing Revolutionaries.

Why would Oda be giving Aokiji such an easy recognizable size while someone like Akainu who has better strength, portrayal and position be given such small size drawing in which it looks like he's hiding his identity as well... lol

Really some flawless work of Oda as always....

I always thought that Aokiji is there in that panel only coz he's somehow connected with Garp as follower/apprentice.....

The way I see it, Akainu finds Garp's justice to be distasteful, thus the shaded hoodie guy in the background.
When he became an admiral he had the authority he needed to deliver his justice which made him glow up
