Qin Great Generals All Time Ranking

#43
Bro what the hell is this list
:snoopy:
1. Ouki, the Shin of his era and King Sho's sword
2. Hakuki, the leader of Qin 6
3. KoShou, if his hype/rumors are true
-
Then we have
4. Tou, the best general Qin has right now
5. YTW, the 2nd best general Qin has right now
Both got S-rank exp and should have the biggest martial weight. Yotanwa bar none should have the biggest weight out of anyone alive.
-
6. Moubu/Ousen
7. Ousen/Moubu interchangeable between the martial might and strategy specialists
8. Kyou, idk could be higher tbh her hype is insane.
9. Kanki, a gimmick general.

Let me find out you hating on Ouki as top1:giogio:

Gyou’Un is HK/ Wei Fire Dragon level, that’s no low bar to cross
:luuh:
Gyou’Un is far away from people like Tou as a commander. Now Raku'a Kan probably won't be as good as Tou either but he's gonna give him a tough match. That could never happen with a Gyou’Un level guy as the Han commander in chief lol.

If we are gonna compare anyone from Han with Gyou’Un, it maybe will be someone like Yoko Yoko, Raku'a Kan's subordinate.

Who will be Qin's chief of military
after SHK's betrayal
?
Me thinks Tou could take that position, at least for a time.

Shoubunkun will probably be dead, Mouten's a Qin 6, and Qin has no one else capable of taking that position

Though I also think Tou will fight against Chu

Tou overall is far better than Gyou'Un I agree, he's an all rounder with no weak points, and has a lot of experience
A general only needs to be good at one aspect on the battlefield to be effective, and Gyou'Un is good at many
He is an instinctual type who studied military tactics, which makes him a rare breed capable of fighting basically any type of general
He's a martial beast (I don't think I need to pull any panels here) Gyou'Un was a legit monster

You have guys like Kyouen who fought the Qin6 and Renpa and lived to tell the tale, and he's but a HK under Renpa's command
Titles can be misleading sometimes

@SakazOuki Coming back to this thread.

I have more clear ideas on some, less on others. Amongst the latter:

Kanki: though the bloke is now out of the story, his warfare could be crazy. Ousen viewed Kanki as a general whose thoughts escaped even him and Riboku thought that he ever were to lose badly that enough that he could lose his life, it would be because Kanki was his opponent. He also had significant flaws but there's no question that the dude was a terror and there were things only he could do. How is he gonna be regarded compared to other Qin Six by EoS? In restrospect, could he look more/less impressive?

Moubu: speaking of EoS Moubu. I have read some historical stuff and I think Hara has big things in store for him. Some questions are: how good will he be considered? I'm interested in seeing to what extent will he be able to (or won't) overcome a tactician. Will he use more tactics himself? And also, how good could he be as a campaign supreme commander? Basically, where does Hara want to take it exactly. Just like Kanki, how will he compare overall to other members the EoS Qin Six or past Qin Six.

Yotanwa: I'm very interested in her vs Great Generals from the plains.

Kanki and Duke Hyou also are exceptional cases, they are the best at what they do, their warfare can be unstoppable at times but it has some weaknesses. Kanki less so than Duke as his warfare is unique of itself, and any type of general can fall victim to his schemes. There are terrible matchups for both, both can defeat generals stronger than them, basically I rank them straight after the truly exceptional generals

Moubu will be considered the best of the best for sure, he ranks highly on my list and so does Kanmei. Moubu will be even levels above that EoS. As for tactics, I’m not really sure. I can see him adopting general strategies but never the details

Yotanwa: I'm very interested in her vs Great Generals from the plains.
I have a hard time seeing YTW beating any solid plains GG
Kochou maybe the strongest plains general she beats

Thats just disrespectful...
Anything other than that is disrespectful to the geniuses who spent their life fighting in the plains
She’s not beating any of the Qin6, Zhao 3, or prodigies of Chu like Kanmei, Karin, among others in china like GHM, Gokei, Gekishin etc
Obviously with the right terrain she can, but on a standard open battlefield, nah

Nah, this is ridiculus downplay.

Yotanwa is exceptional open field commander. Her army is already physically stronger then regular plains folks and she can turn them into combat demons with her morale boosts. She happens to have her own unique tactics (Danai and Manai, misdirection etc) and she has GG-level martial might.

In Ryouyou she defeated an army that was roughly 3 times larger then her own in plains while also having food shortage. That should already told you she's a monster in direct confrontation.

That was not a battle on the plains? Far from it lol
She is not an exceptional open field commander, she is an exceptional mountain tribe leader
The generals I listed are actually exceptional at open warfare. YTW will never really reach that level simply because her expertise lies elsewhere. She’s talented enough to defeat some of the great generals, but definitely not the highest level generals lol

What do you mean? Ryouyou was mostly flat with only a couple hills here and there.

She can specialize in mountain warfare and still be exceptional at open warfare. From the little we got from her nothing indicates open field clash would be her weakness as again, high morale and high martial valor proven to be great weapons in those types of battles.

How exactly would she loose to the likes of Gekishin or Gokei on the plains while having way more firepower then those guys?
