Question for the Zoro fans...

Sanji does have a more detailed back story. Furthermore his connection with Judge and Vegapunk will hopefully be interesting. But I think Sanji is still standing in Zoro's shadow. I am not just talking about fights.
1. Zoro is the only SH to be recruited based on reputation rather than necessity. Sanji is recruited because the crew needed a chef. He also demonstrated his kindness by feeding Gin. Zoro also shows he is kind when he eats Rika's (sp?) rice ball and says it is delicious. Furthermore, Zoro is the only SH who can stand on equal footing with Luffy while the others needed to be saved or shown their value. Both Luffy and Zoro have a strong sense of self worth and pride that complement one another.
2. Luffy and Zoro stand in silence as their dreams are mocked but don't falter. Meanwhile Sanji says Fishmen Island is his All Blue and he dreams of invisibility so he can spy on naked women. I don't like how Oda can write Sanji's dream as a joke. Zoro definitely has the most pride in the crew, but when Zoro throws away his dream it is for Luffy. Oda doesn't make it some contrived joke.
3. In Thriller Bark Zoro says that Luffy will be the Pirate King. Sanji's statement doesn't come until WCI.
4. Sanji may have lead the Curly Hat Pirates and he is protective of his crew. However, if Zoro is there he takes charge. Sanji does listen to him even if the situation is played off as a joke. Zoro is the one who extended the olive branch during the Davy Back fight. He reminds Luffy that he can't waver as their captain. In Post Water 7 they are on the same page when it comes to Usopp. It is Zoro who sets the tone and Sanji backs him up. While Sanji has shown leadership, Oda makes him step back when Zoro is present.
Literally the only thing that Oda gave to Sanji first was an expanded back story. Oda develops Zoro's character through his actions and interactions with other characters. It is impactful.

Totally wrong . You should reread Barathie. Espiacalliy read dreams talking between sanji and luffy. They are sharing same dream.d and sanji is the only crew member that be recruited by sharing dreams.

Sanji and zoro have same importance for Oda . I don't care who is stronger who is badass. None of my business . Every arc, they are sharing same importance. Importance doesn't mean fighting.

I'm sure the Zoro fans wouldn't give a shit if Sanji got his own arc post time skip. Why would they care when Zoro in the Wano Arc got a new sword, oneshotted Apoo, sliced Hawkins, tanked a combo attack from two yonko, permanently scarred Kaido while heavily injured, unlocked Conqueror's Haki and is now going back in to fight again, most likely going to 1v1 King?

Would absolutely rather Zoro never get an arc to himself (by the way, for those of us who have more than two brain cells to rub together and can pay attention to a fuckin’ story, Wano has been QUITE generous to him already) than watch another complete and utter character assassination like what Oda did to Sanji in WCI. If that piece of shit arc is the feather in your cap, I hope the bird that it came off of is rotting in Hell
