Powers & Abilities Raid Suit: instant power-up or not?

#1
I dont know whether this topic has been discussed or not. There is some people that view Enma as a pure training wheel, some others view Enma as pure power-up. I think, for Zoro, it's a bit of both. A sword that, if used correctly, will be superior to Zoro's previous sword due to its (maybe) sharpness, hardness, demonic spirit, etc.

Meanwhile, imo many people view the Raid Suit as an instant power-up. I slightly disagree with this. It doesnt have side effect that sucks haki (Enma), but it's a piece of sophisticated technology. Doesn't technology requires a competence / mastery to use correctly? Like if you dont know how to activate and control the speed boosters, wouldn't it be harmful to yourself in the fight? Like too uncontrollably fast and hitting the wall or passing by the enemy without able to deal damage to him, that sort of thing?

How do you think about this? Is Raid suit a free power-up? A precision and control training wheel? A mix of both?

Here's how I see it :
Enma is like a Weight, it is a tool to train.
RS on the other hand is like a gun; instant power up.

To better wrap your head around the idea, try To picture what would both Enma and RS do to a basic human.
My vision:
RS : Fodder becomes instantly mid tier.
Enma : Fodder dies after a few attempts at using it.

I don't think fodder can use the RS, it's gotta have a genetic lock.

Not that it's all just inherent. I mean you definitely have to learn the functions and test them out without getting killed in the process.

i agree for the most part but a gun still needs practice

Even if it was locked genetically, the actual RS was ''locked'' for Sanji right ? so instant power up.
How can it get you killed ? It didn't show any drawback.

Sure but it has no drawback so you can keep trying until you master it. At worst case it is a nice cosplay costume lol

isn't the RS suit made specifically for sanji?

If a random put it on, hes not going to suddenly be able to use its flight, boost, and invisibility abilities to there normal capacity. unless he's already adapted at that type of fighting. Let's not get cared away here.

Finally someone with a brain here:cheers:
Isn't it Sanji using the RS ?
If the RS was ''locked'' to Franky wouldn't it be an instant power up as Well ?
The RS would have been harder To use if it was generic but being genetically locked makes it even better don't you think?

As we saw in his fight against Page One, the suit increases his strength, speed and durability and allowed him to become invisible. So yes, I think it's an instant power up and it doesn't matter whether Sanji's natural skills helped him use it effectively, the suit still increases his stats regardless.
