why don't you bring out the picture where kaido is reminiscing about 5 legends from just one punch from Luffy, or when Luffy split the sky with kaido, that assisted in the defeat of jack and peros.

Kaido reminiscing those legends doesn't equate to Luffy standing on their level. In fact he was referencing to characters possessing Conqueror's Haki, probably the advanced form at it or other parameters he judged such as personal encounters. That doesn't mean Luffy was at their level all of a sudden expecially when soon after he was low diffed.

Claiming differently is pretty much around as wrong as stating that Base Luffy is yonko level just because he was sky splitting with Kaido but obviously that cannot constitute the case and he was exchanging blows not only with a version of Kaido allegedly more nerfed than anything he was at the moment but not really relying on his heavy attacking hitters.
