People kept saying Ratatoskr was the same creature, that it transfered its soul directly to Ragnir, and that its body never died. Me and some others said the original Ratatoskr's body perished and it transfered to being a Devil Fruit power before Ragnir ate it.
Previously, the concensus was if there was no mention of Devil Fruit or reincarnation then there was no death. It was direct soul transfer/body fusion.
So what is it?
- Did the original Ratatoskr's body die in order for his will to get carried in a Devil Fruit or did it simply "choose to inhabit his weapon"?
I did mention that they don't even look the same.
Note: Maybe next time you shouldn't take the words an old guy like Jarul says about legends of the past so literally. It's pretty well a hard fact now that Ratatoskr died to become a fruit.
