How would you rate this portion of Wano? (978-1050) For me personally its an around a 7 or 8 if were strictly talking about this portion of the arc alone.

Wano before the raid had an argument for being the best arc in the series. That raid brought wano down from God tier to just being "good" overall. It wasn't enough to completely kill the arc thankfully but it got painful as hell to sit through.

-the first couple of chapters from the “at sea you fight pirates” to the attempted assassination of Kaido is best part
-from then out we got the dragged out wait to chapter 1000 chapters
-roofpiece was cool
-after that it’s a completely mixed bag. Nami/Usopp/Tama plotline? Shit. Robin plotline? Good. Zoro? Good but then abandoned.
-the ending of Luffy vs Kaido (and thus the arc, and thus all the years of buildup) is so utterly shit it drags everything else down with it. Can add Momo moving the island into it, so much buildup for a complete damb squib.

Up to the point of "godly df" luffy was fine, but Oda had to fuck him up going the route of the chosen one bullshit, and no by saying i am monkey d luffy doesnt change the fact that it was an asspull move.
