It was an excellent arc for those who actually enjoy Sanji character.

For me I could ask for nothing better as this arc featured the greatest aspects of Sanji with none of the bullshit nosebleeding and simping

It is a bittersweet thing that Whole cake Sanji gave me a Sanji that is, in our modern day, greatly longed for. The sting from seeing a character I enjoy be so disgraced by Oda is all the more pronounced knowing what was and still could be.

Zoro is undeniably cooler, but there is a coolness to Sanji that makes no sense and no one acknowledges because of its absurdity. Sanji doesn't even train and is almost as strong as Zoro.
