So I randomly had the idea of redesigning our favourite troll admiral with a disco theme and I really like how it's turned out:
Admiral Kizaru: Disco King of the Marines
In this redesigned version, Admiral Kizaru is no longer just a calm, lazy powerhouse with the Light-Light Fruit. He now fully embraces a disco aesthetic, blending his casual demeanor with the flashy, rhythmic world of 1970s dance floors. His light-based powers and speed combine with his new persona as a disco-themed admiral, and his right-hand man is none other than the smooth-moving, hypnotic Marine officer, Jango.
Appearance:
Kizaru is dressed head to toe in disco gear. His Marine coat has been swapped for a gold, sequined jacket that shines as brightly as his light beams, with wide lapels and bell-bottom pants to match. His signature glasses are now oversized, tinted yellow, and shaped like stars. A giant, shining medallion of the Marine insignia hangs from his neck, and his shoes are platform boots with blinking LEDs that flash to the beat of the music.
His lazy expression is offset by a glittering afro wig, occasionally glowing with his powers. He also carries a light-reflective, disco-ball cane that doubles as a weapon, spinning it in battle while summoning his Devil Fruit powers to create dazzling light displays.
Personality:
Kizaru’s laid-back nature fits perfectly with his new disco persona. He’s smooth and rhythmic, with his speech now filled with disco slang and delivered in a sing-song tone. He often hums or snaps his fingers to the beat of a disco tune that only he can hear, and his movements are slow and groovy until he decides to flash into action.
Kizaru also likes to blend his attacks with music, calling his moves things like “Strobe Light Kick” or “Blinding Boogie,” all while subtly bopping his head to the rhythm of his own groove.

Jango, the smooth-talking, hypnotic Marine officer from Kuro's crew, now serves as Kizaru’s right-hand man. Fully embracing the disco theme, Jango’s hypnotism is now paired with his own set of moves. His Marine uniform is decked out in a silver disco suit, complete with a fedora adorned with shiny rhinestones. His signature round glasses are now lined with glowing lights that spin hypnotically.
Jango moves in sync with Kizaru, his dance moves blending seamlessly into combat as he uses his hypnotism to mess with enemy perception, slowing them down or making them follow their groove involuntarily.
Together, Kizaru and Jango rule the battlefield like a 70s dance floor, their combat rhythm turning every fight into a psychedelic light show. They’re relaxed and stylish, yet their abilities overwhelm even the toughest enemies. Kizaru’s nonchalant nature fits perfectly with the groovy disco theme, and Jango adds to the mix with his flair for performance, making them one of the most unorthodox but powerful duos in the Marines.
Enemies never know if they’re about to face an intense battle or a dance-off, but one thing is for sure: the disco never dies when Kizaru’s around.
