Powers & Abilities Regular Ryou being used here; although it's not clearly highlighted

#1
We see in chapter 946-7
Luffy intends to defend against a Yonko with this newly learnt haki ability; and while he's unsuccessful at it due to lack of mastery; is it safe to assume that he's doing so now on a regular basis?
This control over the flow of haki resulted in Hyougoro surviving the attack
I'd argue that Yamato is using it here as well

And lastly, I'd argue that Luffy is using it here to defend against Boro breath
These are situations where the damage should've been devastating; Hyou tanking a Yonko? Luffy surviving an attack that decimated a mountain top? Yet these people all endure these attacks and may all have one thing in common

So is this Ryou or are Luffy and Yamato just that durable?

Boundman is already insanely durable, I'm not even sure if Luffy has been using Ryuo in G4, I think Oda is being sly with it, but we'll get confirmation as the fight progresses.
Barrier ryuo harmonized Tankman should be arguably the most durable thing on the roof, maybe the series.

thats just barrier haki , thats what the admirals use to mid diff the yonkos like kaido
Yea, a good portion of the fandom refers to barrier haki and penetration haki as ryou
Here I’m referring to the barrier haki; it’s just unclear if that’s what’s being used

I think the anime will manga this very clear as well if the manga fails to
