General & Others Remember when people thought Yamato was going to join

The last female Straw Hat to officially join the crew was Nico Robin, all the way back in Chapter 114 - which released on November 22, 1999!
That was 23 years ago! The main reason why I want another one to join is so this long record can be stopped. It sounds kinda silly to wish for, but 2 out of the 9 being female isn’t very balanced. One more wouldn’t change that margin by a lot, but it‘d be an improvement.

Do Straw Hats look like underdogs to you in the current arc? The next big opponents will be Blackbeard, the Admirals and maybe the 5 Elders. Ultimately, one way or another, Luffy will get support again in the form of super strong characters like Sabo, Dragon, Shanks or Law, so why not let Yamato join right away? So that's not an argument. Your last point is the only one I agree with. The classic monster trio would no longer exist. However, Luffy has such a huge lead with G5 anyway that it would be more like a trio of Yamato, Zoro and Sanji, comparable to the typical top three Commanders that many antagonists had (Donquixote Elite Officers, Sweet Commanders, All Stars).
