Was it stated anywhere that Logias are supposed to be natural elements?
no. It was just a thing that people realised right? In fact Oda himself made the mistake of calling katakuri a logia because he never actually said logias are natural elements
People had to remind him afterwards that this is what he had set up without actually saying it in the manga so he changed Katakuri back to a paramecia
So the same way no one stated Logias have to be natural elements, There is no different Mythical devil fruits being from the same Type

Before WCI it wasnt confirmed that logias HAD TO BE natural elements
In fact WCI technically didnt confirm it
no part of the manga ever explained that Logias must be natural elements, so Oda made katakuri a logia… Then someone told him that that doesnt follow the rules of logias and he changed him to a paramecia
but thats the thing, this rule doesnt exist in the manga or sbs or vivre card or anything. Its just a things that kept happening and peoole assumed it was true. To the point that Oda himself broke the “rule” because it wasnt actually a rule anywhere. Oda changed Katakuri to a paramecia because of this “rule” but the manga still doesnt have any stipulation anywhere that “logias must be natural elements”
So thats what im going off of for the Mythical fruits.

Same way Snow is part of the Ice element and it ends up as two different devil fruits

Going from all logias are natural elements to one Mythical devil fruit model per type, is a big leap.. They are in different category for a
reason and the only information so far that connects them is the Mythical fruits being more rare than Logias.
You're comparing Logias which are one of the 3 devil fruit types to a subclass of Zoans another devil fruit type and that doesn't work..
Logias are the rarest type of devil fruits amongst ALL the Zoans as well as ALL the Paramecias.. So ALL the Logias must be taken into account, not only the 11 revealed in the series..
I'm throwing some random numbers here, lets say there are 500 Paramecias, 300 Zoans and 100 Logias.. There can still be 30 Mythical devil fruits and be the rarest overall.. Oda could reveal as much or more Mythical devil fruits as there are current logias in the series and they still be the rarest type of power..

Might be. Thought that Oda would go full mainstream on T-Rex one and make it mythical only for the fan service rofl :D Then again, the time has come for Oda to show T-Rex, Titanoboa and Megalodon (ancient version of Uo Uo no Mi maybe?) fruits.
Then again, there are many options for Tori Tori no Mi and Hebi Hebi no Mi types and theory of having only one fruit per type may collapse alltogether. (I wish to see Griffin and Basilisk fruits lol :D)
