Wano should just be Kaido.
I still say to this day that initial script of Wano is supposed to be just Kaido as big bad villain with the Supernova taking him down in groups.
Kid, law, Xdrake, Appo, hawkins most Supernova are forced linked to Wano.
Everything points to Kid, Law, Luffy and co vs Kaido until the moment Big mom comes to Wano

Big mom addition seems like last minute move and doesn't cooked that well we all know it.
And it destroys logic, really looking like Oda forced it.
A Yonko coming to another Yonko main Territory? bringing only 1/3 of its crew?
Then both clash and made alliance in 3 days of simply sparring. Extremely unusual logic...
The system of Yonko where they are hardcore rivals to one another and constantly edging each other to gain supremacy for a decades was easily overrun by force plot

I understand what you're saying because Big Mom's defeat didn't need to be rushed.

Although, both Kaido and Big Mom made moves on the straw hats starting from Zou.

Pekoms was looking for Sanji, and Jack attacked when Luffy arrived to reunite with the curly hat pirates on Zou.

Big mom went to Wano looking for Luffy herself, while Luffy encountered Kaido, he was more concerned on defeating Kaido.

Big Mom was able to be defeated because Law was a former warlord, and Kid injured Snack, the sweet commander.
