Creating this thread while in the manga the battle against Qin has just started and we'll soon see the extent of Seika's might. So if you want to write in this thread only after we've fully witnessed it, instead of the heavy speculation of right now, by all means:myman:

This is a battle with armies.

One army is led by General Renpa, iconic member of the old guard.


With his four Heavenly Kings:



Rinko, Kaishibou, Kyouen, Genpou.


The opposing army is led by Zhao's new tiger, Shibashou.


And his liutenants:



Kansaro, Gakushou, Jiaga, JKR.


Both armies are each made up of 120k men. Let the battle begin.

I already did an analysis/prediction on this in the past but here is my prediction:

Martially: Shibashou. What even really needs to be said here? Shibashou has been hyped to the level of a 3GH level commander purely by virtue of his extreme martial prowess and nothing else. In the same way that Rinshoujou being 3GH tier by sole virtue of his mind and charisma hype these things above Renpa who is more versatile, Shibashou as of now deserves the martial benefit of the doubt. He is a Kanmei sized giant weilding a Glaive bigger than Heki and leads an army of martial mad-lads.

Renpa won’t lose a martial battle easily, but my money is on Shibashou more often than not.

Shibahsou 7/10

Tactically/Strategically: Renpa. Renpa is a head-of-Zhao or even head-of-Chu level mind who can go blow for blow with the best strategists or tacticians of all time and give any of them an “extreme diff” fight. When even (Sanyou) Ousen’s moves are being predicted days in advance by Renpa, that’s how you know Renpa is a top tier mind. He is both a strategic and instinctual type with a photographic memory who was asked to personally advise the Chu King during the Coalition War and was taught by a head-of-Zhao level mind.

Shibashou is not about to be Houken 2.0, I think Shibashou will show some solid battlefield knowledge but he is no Renpa.

Renpa 8/10 (giving Shibashou a bit of benefit of the doubt)

Subordinates: Renpa. I have always said that Renpa’s original collection of 4 Heavenly Kings were the best subordinate combination we’ve ever seen and that really doesn’t change. These guys are all low-GG/Juukou level commanders and can give even Great Generals serious trouble.

Shibashou’s subordinates are very impressive in terms of feats, imo his subordinates are probably all around Kaishibou tier martially, but they seem to be lacking in the heavyweight experience and versatility that commanders like Kaishibou and the rest of the 4HK have, so I’d favor the 4HK.

Renpa 7/10

Overall: Overall Renpa is taking this around a ‘high diff’, you have to respect the hype Riboku placed on Shibashou and the serious and monstrous martial power he and his army represent, but Renpa is just too versatile and really can’t lose to any commander we’ve seen in a straightforward battle scenario.

This is a battle between two armies and i doubt Shibashou is even on the level of Riboku with his generals. He's definitely below Riboku (So painful to even write this. Riboku is most dangerous man but with poor record)

Riboku : Nine out of 10 it will be the Wei army's victory. After all if it's a head on clash against Ren Pa...including me, there is not a single commander alive right now capable of besting him.

Now we don't even need to have a debate when it includes Renpa.

Also i believe none can beat him in head on clash other than HakuKi, Ousen, Kanki (only in certain terrain cases) and Ouki (including Tou). Neither it is Riboku nor Shouheikun nor Rinshoujo or any other wei seven or Qin's 6 or Chu's GG (Chu's tiger is pretty hyped up but doubt if he could match prime Renpa).

Wouldn't surprise me if SBS surpasses Renpa given how new gen surpassing the old is a common theme for Hara.

People shouldn't take that statement about Renpa being unstoppable in direct clash too seriously given that it was 10+ years ago and a lot of current stars were still far behind in experience.

For now H4 are better than Seika commanders

H4 are I-N-S-A-N-E (Rinko best boy)

But Seika 4 (or 5 or 6) can be almost at their level but I think it will be difficult to beat them.

They can become a better roster if :
- Kansaro is solid H4/Gyou Un level
- Jiaga is a 94/95 in martial strength and can break faces
- Seikaun one of the 3 best Ten bows is one of the commanders

Gaku Shou, JKR and the sword guy are good and have nice feats. But for now they aren’t stand outs. They are « just » solid commanders

I am a huge fan of SBS the shadow but Renpa is the greatest of the two by decent margin
