To block anything he need to react faster than fs Shanks. He wasn't able to block King's attacks, how exactly you can see Zolo blocking Shanks?
Cope harder
Hakai was seen from the distance, every one was able to react on this. Kid wasn't able to react on Shanks attack. Now question is was Zolo able tp block all Kings attacks? Answer is no way, he didn't block almost 70% of Kings attacks. Why he should show superior skill to Shanks, if he was at some condition as Kid.
With FS there's no way for Zolo right now be able to block Shanks attack if Shanks himself wouldn't allow him give a chance to block it.
Zoro would counter Shanks "Kamusari" with "KOH Three Sword Serpent" we would see a Advanced CoC Clash which splits the Sky and a small Flashback of Mihawk would go trough Shanks Head

Stop the headcannon. Kid saw Shanks attack coming but wasn't able to do anything about it. Just like hakai. Zoro was the only one fast enough to react (move) to hakai. If Zoro didn't block it the other SN would have beed taken out.
FS doesn't increase the user's speed. It just shows the user a possible future.
After Zoro mastered enma and obtained ACoC King couldn't overpower Zoro anymore. I hope you aren't talking about Zoro prior to his in battle growth.
Zoro probably takes damage but wont be KO. Current zoro's defence with his haki is extremely good.
Probably the next 2 attacks KO him if he doesn't counter
