Speculations Requirement to become PK

For the longest time we have been told that WB was the undeclared PK, the man who stood before the throne but never on it even when he could. There is one thing very confusing for me WB never had all the RPs so how could he become PK? He didn't have Kaido's or BM's that we know for sure, maybe he could get a rubbing off of BM's but he never been to Wano and Oden didn't tell about its contents to WB. Even Zou's was last shown to Roger IIRC. So without all the RPs how could WB become PK? Could he take the RPs from BM and Kaido or did he already know the location of Laugh Tale?

What separates the PK from Yonko's is being able to poach another Yonko's RHM, Shanks asked Marco but Marco refused, BM asked King and King refused but when Roger asked Oden he agreed. Technically Luffy has poached Jinbe from another crew but it is not like the other three instances.

If anything Whitebeard was the only true Pirate King. He was the one who truly reigned over seas.

Roger title was meaningless and given by newspaper just like Luffy's Gonko title.

Whitebeard could have went to Laugh Tale. He even said to Roger he wasn't interested in that. He was a fullfilled man since all he wanted was a family when Roger died as a loser since he got a disease and was too early.

WB was the undeclared PK, because he could have become PK if he wanted to.

WB had ties to Wano, so he could have rolled up and joined with the Samurai to take out Kaiodu, at which point he would have 2 RP and access to 2 Ancient weapons in his territory, it wouldn’t be long after that for him to become PK. He simply didn’t make that move because he didn’t want to risk any of his families lives in a war.

WB didn't even wanted smoke with Kaido and gave BS excuse.

He simply wanted to chil with his family.

No it's specifically said he doesn't want to know how to go to laugh tale, wanting to know the meaning of the d and laugh tale are different things

True, for some reason, character like Blackbeard got some crazy pr team. Man literally got destroyed by whitebeard in front of the whole world but don chinjao say later in the story that this guy is the real deal, you just can't make this up

Wasn't it stated that he was the wall guarding one piece? There's a good chance WB already knows what OP is or part of it.

Kaido was weak 24y qgo (still stronger than prime oden) but also was wb crew. Marco was fodder lvl, same for the others.


In the meantime Roger crew was godlike with rayleigh and gaban beying Admiral levels minimum.

Wb didnt have modern yonku level crew at that time, especially without Oden.

Whitebeard knows a lot thanks to Roger, has trust in wano and Zou, knows their locations mostly.

Still will lose military power against Kaido and Big Mom, the lost RD wasnt lost. Heck, he might even have the last one.

The Pirate King is the conqueror atop conquerors, as Chinjao clearly explained.

It didn't matter whether the papers gave Roger the title of "Pirate King" or not; his status as king of piracy was already sealed the moment he was the strongest person in the world, the moment he mastered the power atop powers according to Kaidou, the moment people like Shiki recognized him the way he did..., and so on. Nobody but Roger achieved this recognition among the top dogs of the world because whether he was given a title or not, they knew he was "their king" as the pirate at the top.

Which is exactly why it's irrelevant whether someone like Blackbeard or Buggy claim the title at some point: none of them have any chance of being recognized as king of pirates the way Luffy has.
