Future Events RHP fans need to watch out the next time Kid shows up

> Uses example of Kidd having to settle on fighting Linlin instead of Kaido.

> Kidd consistently having to settle for someone weaker than the one who wrecked him is somehow evidence that Kidd will get even with Shanks.

LOL.

Kidd ain't doing shit by himself. If he isn't dead then best he can hope for is assisting Blackbeard. 2v1 fights always were Kidd's style. :myman:
Law got recently defeated as well. Maybe the two could permanently join up to continue their tag team winstreak?

It’s like saying “Shiryu isn’t important enough to contribute to Garp’s defeat”

Like there is a middle ground between “Kid will 1v1 Shanks” and “Kid is utterly irrelevant and his rivalry with shanks is going nowhere”

My guess is that he gets his rematch and contributes to Shanks’s defeat. However Teach does most of the work.

Ok then
It went from "Kid won't do a thing in wano, will run away...He won't fight yonko again...won't beat BM even with Law or other means...won't be relevant after wano"
To

"Kid won't do a thing by himself"
When he beats a top tier 1v1, it will be "that top tier is trash anyway"

Sassenach, when did I say any of this? :watchout:

:kayneshrug:You claiming he can't do anything alone...
All he can do is 2v1
You don't would different from other haters

You Kid haters love switching up your hate arguments
Nah sassenach, I was referring to your Wano talk.

I am pretty sure the only people claiming that Kidd + Law would lose were Linlin stans crying about how Fat Hoe should be crushing those two like bugs. Lol.

The thing is Teach needing Kid's help undermines the hype Oda intends for him. Shanks is weaker than Mihawk, yet for some reason, Luffy's Whitebeard/Xebec is going to be weaker than Zoro's number one rival?

Currently Teach would need help to beat Shanks. His feats just aren’t as good.

Eventually Teach will get stronger, but we don’t know when Oda will give him that power up.

What I can say is, using every other legend as precedent, it’s very very unlikely that Shanks will be a hypetool. Hence I’d wager Teach’s power up comes during or after his fight with Shanks. That way it doesn’t overshadow Shanks’s moment.

Ultimately, Kid 2v1ing Shanks not only fulfills the build up Oda has had for Kid since post skip, it is fully in line with how Oda has brought down every other legend.
  • WB was ganged up on
  • Garp was ganged up on
Why should Teach 1v1 Shanks?

Fan-gauged feats are irrelevant.

It will be soon because Teach is one of the final bosses (will arguably be a bigger deal than Sakazuki) and we're in the final saga.

You do realize that Blackbeard is going to become one of those legends, right?

Ultimately, Kid 2v1ing Shanks not only fulfills the build up Oda has had for Kid since post skip
Oda had nothing for Kid or Law except to be hypetools for postskip villains once he started rollng out the big guns (Doflamingo, the Yonkou Commanders, the Yonkou themselves, etc.). Their accomplishments have consistently been lesser versions of Luffy's.

it is fully in line with how Oda has brought down every other legend.

Why should Teach 1v1 Shanks?
Because unlike those legends, Shanks and Teach have a vendetta against each other, which means Oda is aiming for a confrontation between those two down the line like he has for Luffy and Sakazuki.
