The Crocodile/Jailer Beast parts are interesting, it confirm most like that they had also awakened forms.
Crazy if we count the fact that these guys been awakened but Kaido and his whole crew not...
I hope he at least tell us the reason, since based on the previous sketches, he never plan with awakened forms for beast pirates before wano even began.
He is saving all of that for the final war.
The fact that Oda made kaido overlook DF awakenings in favor of haki with the Roger example, makes it so that there is room for growth in kaido's power. This is reinforced by the fact that kaido got beaten precisely because of a devil fruit awakening.
Did Oda just do this on purpose to have a sense of irony in the final clash? Or is there a bigger plan/reason to it?
I think its the latter.
