Speculations Rocks used hostages against the Admiral

#1
  • 1. First thing we learn is that Rocks kidnapped (not killed) 5 kings.
  • 2. Imu immediately assumes that the kidnapped kings are hostages to be used against him
  • 3. Rocks knows that it won't work against Imu but says holy land is in chaos
If Rocks wanted chaos, killing kings would be just as chaotic (if not more) and he wouldn't need to carry 5 kings around. Not to mention chaos does not help him, instead it just makes things harder since it makes security be on high alert.
We also get Imu immediately knowing that kings are to be used as hostages from the way they were kidnapped.
But we never get resolution with kidnapped kings, instead the next thing we hear is that Xebec injured an Admiral (someone who is less politically important than kings) and Xebec running away with no kings.

So either kidnapped kings served no purpose and was just random ass event that Rocks did for no reason
or they did serve purpose as intended hostages.

And there's only 1 big event that happened in the reverie and overshadowed 5 kings being kidnapped and the only possible reason to use į kings as hostages - Admiral being murdered.

I 100% believe some outside factor contributed to Rocks killing an admiral and it was not a fair 1v1 fight.

Whether it was the kidnapped kings or the fact they were in the holy land with many civilians around. Rocks had something to his advantage and it cost this admiral his life.

I can't wait for Oda to reveal more context on this situation, I hope Garp confronts Rocks about it on GV and we find out more.

Rocks brought the kings with him to the Room of Flowers (since he obviously can’t use them as hostages if they’re not with him). So either he killed them after they failed as bargaining chips, or Imu had them killed for getting too close to him

None of those is true
Only admiral dying was the big event during the reverie

the fact that kings were hostages plotline was not resolved and we had offscreen event of admirals during should make even your little brain tickle

There Is definitely something fishy.

Let's just point out Oda literally showed everything, including Just before and immediately after, but not Xebec killing the Admirals which was the hyping feat used in his introduction and in the chapter itself.

Greenbull in Wano: easily renders 5 Scabbards, Momo, and Yamato completely powerless while just trying to restrain them, and required Shanks to step in.

Green Bull in Marijoa: Can't stop Morley and complains that he cant even fight.

Fujitora in Dressrosa: Mid diffing Sabo while sandbagging.

Fujitora in Marijoa: Has a harder time against Karasu and cant even drop a meteor.

Imagine if they had to fight Xebec in Marijoa? That's just how restrictive Marijoa is for an admiral.

True, but the most hinting things Is killing the Admirals used repeatedly as hype for Xebec and then at Marijoa Oda shows everything but that. Literally Just before and immediately after.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to get there is something behind, maybe because who was the Admiral and how It went.
