judging by the number of players in the game, mafia can't be small enough for all the mafia members to be inexperienced scum, experienced players wouldn't let their inexperienced teammates do something like wasting an important ability on d1 just to kill a survivor claim who is being sussed and voted by everyone
now rolo beig an inexperienced indie and/or having a different goal from just surviving, that would be a reasonable theory

If it's real, the person who activated it does seem to be Rolo, from what I read on the wiki. The fact that it's a real power in CG makes me think it's real.

Or it’s fake and people just used an ability like that to make it seem more authentic.
It is fake, there is no ability that locks votes and makes say abilities null, it’d be way too powerful. And even if it existed, for balance purposes it would not be able to be used this early in the game. Most super powerful abilities are locked behind cooldowns.
And it’s easy to check, get the vote count, vote me or someone else then check if it changed.
I doubt that ability comes with vote manipulation too if it existed.
