General & Others Sabo Stocks review after 1085: Meteoric drop

I always thought they were ...
Quite a few people did.

The problem is, is people are ass-backwards. Instead of taking an established character like Sabo, and using his performance to gauge the potential of the Gorosei, they instead take unestablished characters, and use it to downplay the established character.

We knew damn near nothing about the Gorosei, yet "Failed to damage any Gorosei" was quite literally used as an argument to downplay Sabo. 6 against 1, and Sabo still managed to escape. In the end, the exact opposite was achieved. It has now boosted Sabo, considering how powerful the Gorosei are, with Im-sama most likely being MUCH stronger, and he still managed to get out alive.

Keep in mind Luffy needed a shit ton of help to escape Akainu and Kizaru while Sabo escaped the Gorosei on his own too

I thought the fact that they were giving orders to admirals and acting so full of themselves would be enough.

Them having their forms hidden in the throne room should have been obvious enough it's a big reveal Oda is too stingy to give away easily.

I'll just leave this here in case we need to go back further down the line - Sabo will end up as a top 10 strongest character in the world by EoS if he doesn't die prematurely.

He already is one of the strongest around despite only being 22, the same age as Helmeppo and Ulti.

Being Luffys big brother it's easy to forget that Sabo is even younger than Kidd (23), Tashigi (23), Bartolomeo (24), Kaku (25), Law (26), Cavendish (26), Killer (27), Bellamy (27), Yamato (28).

Since people are just scaling a character based in their muscle, let's just put it this way :

I am having sabo to be around kidd and law level. And the gorosei to be around admirals.

How do you think Law / Kidd doing against 6 admirals at the same time?

It’s not abt sabo being a bum around gorosei lol

Did people actually forget what his fans were pushing before we even got the flashback ? They thought Sabo severely injured or even defeated an admiral during the raid
And they were immediately scaling Sabo off this supreme headcanon
then we got to know that Sabo barely did anything in the raid , much less beat an admiral

Instead we saw him get clowned left to right
Ofc the ones pushing the supreme headcanon took heavy Ls when the flashback was actually sabo doing batshit
