Speculations Sabo Vs Shamrock ?

#41
Loki goes far higher than Shamrock.
Sabo and Shamrock should be a far closer powerlvl fit than Loki and Shamrock. Endgame Sabo should be a comfortable top 5 Luffy ally, including Strawhats.

Shamrock could go down to Loki, but powerlvl wouldn't be the reason.
I'm not disagreeing on the Loki > Shamrock take.
But I think Shamrock might effectively be (much) stronger than it might seem right now.
1) There's too much focus on the actual regen part of the seal, but regen or that "immortality" quirk also means endless stamina, right?
And it gives a physical zenkai boost aswell, while he's probably a top tier swordsman in "base" already.
-> Might lead to top of the verse physical movement speed + unlimited stamina.
2) Shanks seems to have incredible, top of the verse talent/affinity for CoC. It might be a Twins thing.
3) Summoing the Cerberus out of the sword is probably the most generic stuff of that ability concept. What if he can fuse with that beast or he has a demon form himself similar to the Gorosei, one that fits him well/keeps his humanoid shape tho. Like when characters in OPM eat monster cells.
4) Oda decided to shit on the former top of the verse officially with Loki. I think we now have much more leeway in speculating potential powerlevels, because final saga characters aren't really capped anymore. Oda officially opened pandora's box.

Hence it's imo not impossible anymore for Shamrock to end up a demon form boosted, speedblitzing Shanks twin haki god. I'd have never assumed that Shamrock could be > WB or Roger for example. Now I actually think it might end up being the case.
So it might not have been fake confidence or cockiness towards Loki and even if he's not stronger, he might give him a good fight.

-> All of that is why I also think Sabo <(<) Shamrock is likely going to be the case.

I understand, but my "problem" with this is that since Loki is one of the major gods of OP (the ones in the Harley), the only way I see for Shamrock to be his adversary is if he turns out to be the Grand Line/Serpent entity that in the mural seems to be fighting with Nidhogg.
Honestly, seems very difficult to me.

Not to mention, it might be a recessive take now, but I think the strongest subordinate of Imu is going to be Garling anyway.

Yea the serpent will be his main task for sure.
Hence there's probably not much room for a second fight (Shamrock) for Loki.

I don't know about the Garling part though. I have the feeling it's more like a strong dad, genius kids conestellation right now. Atleast that's my impression.
But Garling for all I care can also be the strongest when all is said and done.

You think it's going to be Dragon/Sabo vs Garling/Shamrock..?

Yes, that would be my take.

I've always had Dragon vs the most prominent Gorosei. He'll face Imu, but we know he cannot be the one who takes him down, so, given that he's the leader of the revolution and the MC's father, I've always thought he would have had the most important Gorosei as his main fight.
For some time Topman was the only choice, but then came Garling, who not only seems to be the most important Gorosei by the planet order:

but he's even present in that "most important characters" double spread. Now, it's not a must, but it makes sense that the most important characters are going to fight among themsleves and not with other characters. If we add that to the fact that Garling is the "moon" and so the second to Imu...
Also, after some time we came to know that Dragon and Garling, among all, were actually very closely related by the plot: Garling was the reason behind GV (which was also the reason why Dragon became a revolutionary) and was the father of the two children Dragon tried to save. After GV in particular, all checks and tbh I took that as a confirmation.

If we go by this, Sabo vs Shamrock, which already had some plot connections, became more probable if we add Dragon vs Garling to the mix.

Yea I'm entitely on board with the Dragon vs Garling fight. That's the one I'm betting on aswell.

I just have my problems with Sabo vs Shamrock. No deep reasons though, I just cannot imagine it for now.

I suppose anyway that if Sabo vs Shamrock is going to happen, as happened with Dragon Vs Garling, Oda will prepare the setting maybe with a preliminary fight. We'll see.
