Half of Pain's secret was found out by Pa finding out about Shared Vision lmao. And he got curbstomped anyways in a fight.
Not sure how that is supposed to help him against Gai when Gai's combative style is just throwing raw hands with insane speed/power. IQ doesn't help when his stats are vastly inferior to get Gai's and he just gets blitzed and ratpacked with his zoo in CQC

So Jiraya is smarter and Guy never blitzed him. Like Jiraya was able to fight Nagato who's fast enough to fight speedsters like kurama mode Naruto. What Guy can even do? ...gas out after 1 minute of 7 gates while Jiraya hides in a toad?...
Jiraiya was struggling to keep up with the Pains and got curb stomped the moment he was facing six paths
Nagato also has 0 decent speed feats except blocking an attack from Killer Bee… which came from a path that blitzed Jiraiya
Compared to 7G Gai who was trading CQC blows with JJ Madara and nearly blitzed him as well
. Jiraya kept up with Pain and that's it. Madara let Gai and everyone else to show off before killing them.
