During the peeks i've done in the chapter threads of SD,i spot something troublesome.
Is it true that this manga seems to run the risk of becoming like Shit Piece? A story where the protagonist has a overbearing presence that turns both the supporting cast and villains into jokes?(👀 I read that you say that
@Chrono )
I'll come here to keep a eye on it when new chapters come out. If SD crosses that line,i will remove it from my reading list.

This is something that's just have been happening in the recent 10 chapters. And its also explainable since this is the only time we'll ever see the MC like this.
Honestly it isnt only the MC, there is another character....."R"..that we see a lot of. So its more to do with the lack of precense of the other 2 characters in the plotline. But those other 2 characters are prominent figures in the current story....so it makes sense that they get little panel-time here. Because:-
- The author doesnt want to spoil their abilities too much yet
- They have the whole story ahead of them, whilst the other 2 dont.
So yh young Sakamoto and character "R" only get this flashback arc to shine. In general, current time Sakamoto shares his shine with every side character.
(( Theres also the possibility that this could become a regular thing....because Sakamoto got 5th place in the pop poll, so the author has to make him more likable. Though since the author expected it, I dont think this is the case.))
But yh I hope other characters get their shine in this arc too. In general Sakamoto Days is the best manga I've ever read.
