He could not get magically killed if Sanji profited of the right time to be helped by his nakama. It's not he had to play dumb and neglect Big Mom's proposal immediately, it's just he could have at least not refused Luffy's help when he finally arrived to WCI in order to rescue Sanji. He rather chose to beat him up instead of trying to overcome his fears.

Sanji need to get Armament hardening or a level up in CoO before getting CoC..

That's why Zoro fans believe he has AdCoC, you don't skip a level..

Usopp starts with CoO then CoA then Elbaf CoC.. lt has to be gradual..
Sanji needs to become a CoO master first, it's his specialty..
