The thing is I can’t see all of this happening and Killingham just being a pawn in the background. To realize that he's nerfing himself, I think it’d be good to have Killingham being that perfect mirror.
So I think that at some point Killingham will be shown to be a fishman who refuses to get into the water/fight with it, having the rain god in this battle would be a huge advantage for a strong fishman, but he won’t use it that way because he hates himself, just like Sanji hardly use his germa qualities because he hates that part of himself.
Sanji will see how ridiculous that is because that’s how Kill will lose and be a liability to his leader, and understand that himself not tapping into a power that’d make him so much stronger is nerfing his crew.
