I don’t think the first Nika failed, he just couldn’t finish the job but left behind the Ancient Kingdom to finish what he started although I believe he lived as the strongest of his era and died from natural causes.

Joy Boy was Nika’s descendant and had a “Zoro” which was not in the first world but still failed

Now Luffy has “Zoro” + “Sanji”

Actually the first Nika is a liberator, probably the one who liberated humanity from the slavery of the moon people that initially descended as well as the ancient giants that terrorized the world, establishing the great kingdom, the great serpent”the red line” engulfed the world as the result of the terraforming that followed the first war.
