So you know how Oda likes to hint things in his gags? The 1cm gag he's done on Sanji and Zoro, Queen and King, and Shanks and Mihawk. All of those rivals and opponents. I thought that meant Sanji would fight Shanks (not as an enemy but a misunderstanding or because Luffy refuses and Vegapunk put the pressure on Sanji to get the OP.) But maybe it means Shamrock.
also sanji and shanks have alot of similarities ( which is why I suggest the idea that garling is his maternal grandfather and that garling will fight sanji)
also shanks and garling are like judge and sanji heck both sanji and shanks were raised by pirates

The connections are really endless. —Sanji dad is called judge & we was introduced to Garling,It said he passed senetence. (Similar to a fucking judge!!) Also both have royal born sons that are outcasts of the family. •Shanks •Sanji Both fathers being and into science!!
—The biggest connection is judge children. His 3 sons wear shades similar to Garling & have those wacky hairstyles just like garlings.

I began to think to myself. What if shanks don’t only just have one sibling….
—I think shanks will probably have 3 bros & 1 sis!! or just 1 bro and 1 sis
also remember what sanji said to his family about how everything they stand for go against his ideals I can imagine shanks saying/thinking something similar
