I feel like a lot of people are looking at it through the context of "This character's powers would be a good matchup for this other character's powers" instead of "What do these characters have in common?" Or convesely "How are these characters different?" Cause imo the latter definitely seems to be the angle that Oda's going at

This is also why I think Vivi will be the one to fight Pizarro. She's a benevolent queen while he was an evil king

Kuzan the coolest but he’s probably gonna leave BB pirates before it’s time to fight the SH. Pizarro been my most consistent pick, the north blue royals and also like Shiryu he stood out from the other impel down characters. Shiryu was head jailer and I’m terms of the regular inmates Pizarro was the only one that had a distinct design rather than a prison garb like the others.

I agree w vivi vs pizarro if she actually joins and if kuzan fights as tenth captain instead of leaving bb pirates

Yeah, but it's fairly easy to eliminate certain members. Oda has a habit of matching up Zoro and Sanji with characters who share a common theme with them. On a surface level, Pizzaro seems the most likely candidate.

I'm of the mindset however, that Aokiji is not actually the Tenth Titan commander referenced in Dressrosa, and Oda is playing off of Sanji seemingly going unnoticed by the WG all of preskip, and parallel this mysteriously unknown Blackbeard Pirate member, to be his opponent.

The BBP have 10 main members, the n°4 is going to fight one of them. This special snowflake agenda vs mysterious 10th Captain is funny tho, he had his focus and now his job is too rescue Pudding from Vasco/Pizarro/Laffitte. :kobeha:
