Zoro bringing back Lucci as his 'kill,' and Sanji bringing back Kizaru or Saturn as his, finally beating Zoro at the contest just before Elbaf --- except with the price of his mind lost and thus entering the deathpact.

Sanji's performance on egghead is his usual plot.
Usually Sanji looked like he don't do anything or losing or Rogue by himself without taking any fight while Zoro-Luffy fight.

Then, out of nowhere Sanji will take on enemy with a close gap with Zoro's enemy at that moment. So, just a usual thing. Sanji will always no. 3 whatever happened right now, he will be the no. 3.

So, nothing new, i guess

This would be great, but I just think Oda doesn't give a fuck about logic. A character can lose to Usopp and then defeat Kaido one chapter later.

That holds Sanji back is the plot. Oda is killing One Piece. He is doing random things he just don't care about characterization anymore. Even Luffy that most claim to be his only focus now it was already destroyed as a character.

you didn't provide anything blud , you are saying sanji is fucking dumb to not save bonney who was about to die because he's somewhat holding back, if you aren't a sanji hater i don't know what i would call you .
