Sasori intentionally didn’t dodge Mother&Father puppets. That much was stated by Chiyo.
Chiyo is a Kage/almost Kage level fighter who got supported by Tsunade’s protege (someone flat out stronger than BoS Naruto) and Hebi Sasuke/Deidara were high Jonin level fighters at best.
Deidara beat Gaara because he did threaten the village and put all of Gaara’s defenses down. Gaara took one arm from him with huge disadvantage. Put them into open field without any village to bomb and see what happens in that case. That Gaara was blocking Amaterasu shots from Taka Sasuke and figured out Susanoo’s weakness after seeing it only once.

and stronger then isobu

I dont think that's as concrete as the examples provided but it also works in proving the point
Though that only works if you scale sasori to sakura like me and the series do. Elsewise you can just say sasori beats sasuke right

Deidras got more range of Sasori and would easily C4 his puppets while Sasori can go cry goodbye to his wooden parents.

Yea, I dont think there's much to contest about at least with regards to the range argument.
Another good pro deidara argument would most certainly be his underrated clone duplication like even onoki and sasuke had no idea that he attacked a clone

The Iron sand is stronger than gaaras sand which could easily tank c3, and thus c2 and c1 as well. c4 is useless since sasori doesnt have lungs, and c0 is a suicide move.

Gaara was able to take a limb off deidara, and at that point he was weaker than Rasa, who in turn was weaker than the Third Kazekage. Sasori killed the Third Kazekage, and possesses him. Thats 2 mid to high kage level fighters right there.

Sasoris sand is poisoned, and seeing how an inferior version of that sand could tag deidara, he should be able to tag him as well and kill him
