Chapter Discussion Saturn might have just opened the door for Marines to turn on the World Government. Imu made the right decision!

Saturn killing Doberman should be all the confirmation that the marines in that room need to break off from the world government.

He should have just lied, then he decided not to destroy the giant robot 200 years ago. He is the biggest fuck up in WCI.

Even after all of that he decided not to go after Luffy, how dumb can a character be lol.

My question is how do the Vice Admirals in that room responded? They should obviously leave the marines and let the other marines know why and start a rebellion. What do you all think?

Considering how dumb all of these characters are on average, I'd be surprised if any of the VAs voice any dissenting opinions against the WG.

That would be terrible writing if they don’t. If that don’t say or do anything, Doberman was the only competent character in that room including Saturn.

The guy blew their colleagues head off (figuratively) and as soon as he starts smoking they revert to slave settings and ask how they can help him...so he can pop off more heads

Oda could've shown more depth right in this very chapter if these bums had any to speak of

Facts they really should have been like fuck him lol. To be fair though I think they might be afraid of the government framing it as Saturn attacked Doberman and the other VAs killed Saturn.

It might be hard for us to believe but the people in the verse would go for it, at least the civilians.

Well contrary to what spoilers said it seems likely that Doberman survived and was just knocked out. Still make Saturn a shitty boss for treating his soldiers like this for asking questions but might not be rebellion worthy

If that’s not rebellion worthy I’m not sure what is. You’d have to assume they want to flood the world after that reaction killing millions.

They didn't even need to go on the offensive at all - just not jump to subservience immediately
