Actually one of the more interesting characters in Dressrosa.

His style was unique

Easily my favourite of the Grand Fleet. Hakuba's pretty cool, his design is nice and I like his personality. He also had some pretty good moments like waiting with Law to see the results of Luffy vs Doffy, rather than taking Law away against his wishes or bailing

Oda’s penchant for introducing more characters in OP than there are humans in the real world is gonna leave a lot of fandoms dissatisfied by the resolution (or lack thereof) for their favorites when the series ends, but I don’t think the Cavendish collective - assuming they actually exist - will be one of them. Maybe that’s only because he’s a member of the Grand Fleet, but his inclusion there alone indicates he’ll matter soon enough, which is more than a lot of secondary characters can say at this point

Cavendish reminds me of those lost Paladins of justice a series needs except he ain't a Paladin at all except in the look, he is a damn Pirate.

Oda's irony is bemusing.

Cavendish is good. I would back him to beat some worst gen novas like Hawkins and Drake. Luffy is pretty awesome for having 3 super rookies (Cavendish, Zoro, Barto) under him plus an ex warlord. The man is truly an emperor class pirate.
