So it seems a lot of people seem to speculate that the person in that cover photo is Scopper Gaban. So I figured I'd do a little digging of my own, and I think I got something you guys might find interesting. Just like Zoro is likened to Rayleigh, a lot of people also speculate that Gaban will be Sanji's parallel in the Roger Pirates. So taking another look at the photo with the man with Crocus, there was something that caught my eye. Look at the color and the pattern of the cloak he is wearing.


Now look at the color and pattern of Sanji's Kimono.


Now it's definitely not perfect match, but interesting to say the least. If it is Gaban, then the only thing that would need to be explained is why all of a sudden does he have blonde hair instead of black which is fairly easy to do.

I don't know why it's so hard to believe someone can dye his hair. Kinemon used to have blond hair, now his hair is black. Denjiro's hair was originally black and now it's blue. If it's Gaban, maybe Oda didn't want to give away his identity because of something as trivial as hair color.

I don't think the hair color matters because so many others have changed. Ray had reddish blonde hair that changed to black.

I really wanna see some dual-axe action from Scopper, but I feel like Wano is already getting a little crowded with cameos.

as far as I recall it was blonde in his youth
and white now
due to age
