I disagree, D1 interractions are super important. Especially in this game where culting is a thing, the longer the phase the longer people interract and the better of a view you can get of the overall place of each player and to see if their behavior changes the days forward or not.
And the more flips happen the better the reads and interractions from D1 become as a source of information.

Well, I guess it's true it could work both ways. But, day 1 is a great starting point to build up on information and reads like you mentioned. So what better time to prolong, then the beginning where everyone can get a sometimes extensive feel for other players. Also provides more time to talks things out and try to avoid a potential mislynch that would come even easier in a 24 hr dp.
I guess I’m just wrong on the elongated D1 thing then lol. I just don’t really know what to do rn other that screenshot mental notes for later. I like that I’m able to do that this phase but I struggle to find a way to be proactively helpful in the moment.
I definitely see where it’s beneficial to come back to this day later and see who’s behavior looks weird once we have more info. But that doesn’t really tell me what I need to be doing right now to help Town.
In the other game we had the whole Flower silence we could debate over and analyze (though I was so overwhelmed at the time I couldn’t contribute much to that).

Yes I'm town.No worries, the game will progress naturally like they always do. If you don't have anything to comment on currently, just save your thoughts, read over things, ect. Or take a break. I know lots of people are probably sleeping right now based off different timezones. About 5 or so posters still have yet to show up as well, so I'm sure they will add a lot to the day.
Go throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. Ask questions of people. Bait reactions. There's all kinds of shit you can do in D1. I have never subscribed to the common idea that D1s tend to be more on the useless side. Wolves obviously have a harder time fitting into the game and acting natural while legitimately trying to look like they're hunting. D1 is the hardest to fit in because if you give them more crevices to hide in later on in the game, they'll take that opportunity. So do lots of different things in D1 and see what happens or what might look unnatural.
