You will get a role.

It will be either town, mafia or other informed minority, or independent.

Towns job is to find mafia ect, or independpents that are harmful them and lynch them during the day or kill them at night.

Mafia, or other informed minorities is to try and pass as town during the day in the game thread and not get caught as mafia and try to get rid of all town.

Indepenent win conditions can vary significantly from just surviving or having to kill everyone.
