A long time ago, a horny clown made some theories about Seastone Swords in Wano.
"Surely, just Kaido isn't enough to stop the WG from raiding Wano. They must have a legitimate fear regarding this country. The Samurai must pose a real threat to them."
I assumed a lot of the good Samurai gone, obviously. But, I thought Kaido's Crew would be a bunch of SMILES and Zoans wielding Seastone Weapons: a totally destructive force. Zoan users with the base physical and speed and endurance boosts Zoan's provide, on top of Seastone Guns and Swords making other Fruit users horribly disadvantaged.
Against a non-Fruit user, the Zoan Fruit overpowers. Against a Fruit user, the Seastone overpowers.

In general, this is also why Wano is an isolated nation: Kaido was never Wano's true enemy, if anything Kaido was protecting Wano from the WG, Aramaki said it himself.
The WG is Wano's true enemy, and were even willing to negotiate with Kaido, Doflamingo, and Orochi for Seastone. Wano has had to close its borders, because if the WG gained access to Seastone production, the Dream/Dawn is over. If every Marine has Seastone Bullets, there's no Joy Boy, just the Celestial Dragons going at kids like Epstein's Client List.
Wano HAD to prevent the WG from accessing Seastone production... so? I think they destroyed it. Knowing the danger Seastone presented to Joy Boy in the future, Wano destroyed their knowledge of Seastone production, only allowing it to exist within the Royalty. And even then, they no longer knew how to make blades: just nails, and bullets, apparently (though I'm still wondering why we've never seen Seastone Bullets... maybe the WG is stockpiling them?). Smoker's Seastone-tipped Jitte and Stussy's Lipstick are very clearly Vegapunk inventions.
This also explains why Kaido doesn't have Seastone weapons: Wano straight up doesn't know how to fucking make them. They can make Seastone into stuff like nails, yeah, but, an actual sword?
IF PEOPLE COULD MAKE SEASTONE SWORDS, WE'D SEE THEM. SO, THEY FUCKING CAN'T. The WG was probably buying Seastone from Kaido to try to reverse engineer Seastone (which is problematic because they have York now).

Oden's Journal contains the lost art of forging Seastone into legitimate weapons. Why didn't Oden do this?
Oden had absolutely no time or ability to forge Seastone. If Oden had forged, Kaido and Orochi's spies would know (Oden had no ability to counter Higurashi's DF and its spying capabilities), taken it as an act of war, and murdered the hostages in cold blood.
Oden was a fool of a Lord, who loved his people dearly. He bet his life on the next generation, like Roger before him, and then Shanks after him. He gave his life and Wano's safety for the sake of the Dawn.
This will allow Sukiyaki to redeem himself: by teaching Momo to be a Bladesmith, Sukiyaki will arm his country, and make them able to defend against the WG.
At first, I wanted Momo to get Enma back, but, I don't think his personality is right for Enma. This allows Momo to forge his own Sword, while also using Ame no Habakiri, Oden's other blade; allowing Momo to be like his father, but also be his own man.
As a result, all of the Strawhats will receive Seastone Armaments.
Luffy: Seastone Sandals (bottom lining). Luffy's most consistent character apparel features are his Straw Hat #1, then Sandals #2. Obviously, Luffy's not letting anyone touch the Hat. But, the shoes? Why not. Luffy uses a LOT of kicking attacks, and can twist his body to block DF Attacks with his Sandals. This will also let him pierce through high level Logia attacks with kicks. I could also see Luffy getting Seastone boxing gloves, with Long Ring Long Land somehow being the dumbest foreshadowing of all time.
Zoro: Seastone Compass Seastone Sword. This one is too obvious. Zoro having an Anti-DF fuck you sword hits him well and gives him more blades to work with. I think Zoro will end up using his feet, too, an adopt a five blade style with Wado in his mouth, Enma and Shusui in his hands, and Nidai Kitetsu and Momo's Gift Blade.
Sanji: Seastone knives. Sanji's already fought with knives before, against Wanze in the Enies Lobby Sea Train. Sanji's Raid Suit is already strong enough (he'll get one from Lilith), and adding Seastone would make it heavy, which fucks with Sanji's movement. Sanji getting short knives allows him to fight with his hands without damaging them (+ his Exoskeleton). With the Germa tech he has, Sanji has no excuse to not use his hands in combat. They'll heal up no matter what. Sanji just punching people is boring, though: Sanji being a dual-knife wielder who sometimes throws his knives harkens back to him dual-wielding pistols in his concept art. CoC will allow Sanji to kick Women without touching them/hurting them: what he needs now is to be able to do something with his hands.
Usopp: Seastone bullets. Usopp's already pretty strong as a sniper, he just needs to: A, add Armament Haki to his shots, and, B, gets stronger rounds. Plants can only do so much against Ancient Zoans. Interesting if Usopp finds a way to have plants that utilize Seastone in their biology, though. Usopp's Kabuto needs to be able to bend for his shots. It can be Seastone tipped, but it needs to be made out of a flexible material for it's base.
Nami: Seastone Climatact. This one speaks for itself. Nami's Climatact would become incredibly versatile, even with just a Seastone tipped end, like Smoker's Jitter. If Oda doesn't go this route, due to Seastone not conducting electricity well or something, Nami could also use a Seastone Waver (which she could use Vegapunk's Island AC technology to ride Zeus on), or Seastone armor, to help protect her and deal with her natural fragility as a combatant. Hope Oda surprise me here. Maybe a little Seastone Robot Zeus can live in?
Chopper: Seastone Antleer covers with Leather internals, so Chopper isn't affected. Chopper's greatest weapons are his horns and hooves. Reindeer Hoove Shoes, like Horseshoes, are also possible.
Robin: Seastone artificial nails. I thought about lipstick, some chain stuff, even a fucking gun, but Robin's combat style is grapple based. Digging into her enemies with artificial nails, or even weapons like Blackbeards Tekokagi claws. Robin is a stealth based fighter, as well, so she'd want something smaller to keep on her hidden. Razor sharp finger nails/claw based weapons fit that nicely. Maybe something like the Assassin's Creed Wrist Blades? Something sneaky.
Franky: Armor upgrades to base body as well as Franky Shogun. I think the Franky Shogun will also get some Adam Wood upgrades, but, they'd need to be internal, because of the fire/lightning weakness. Franky's Cyborg Body, and Shogun being formed from Seastone will make him an actual menace to evil societies. He's already bulky, with Seastone Armor and other Armaments, Franky will become the ultimate Battle Franky Tank Man.
Brook: Seastonetipped sword. Unlike Zoro, Brook relies heavily on speed. For this reason, I think making a sword with an edge of Seastone, rather than a whole blade, is superior: same functionality, but with less durability/weight. Gives Brook the defense he needs, on top of offense, without losing speed.
Jinbe: Uh... Sea... Seastone lined Sandals??? Yeah, I know, that was Luffy's I'm kind of stumped here. Maybe Seastone Knuckles? Oh wait... NVM, we back. Yeah, Seastone Knuckles, like Brass Knuckles. Okay. Sonic furry reference insert here.
Vivi: Seastone Peacock Slashers. Erybody get back, the Peacock Slashers are back, and Vivi's going whickety whack and slashing off Celestial Dragon fingers when they get handsy. Now, though, Vivi will be able to extend the length of the slashers, so that they can function as short range weapons, or long range weapons. Vivi's new CoA learned from training to rejoin the Crew someday, will allow her to slice the ground itself apart with her Peacock Slashers. Combine this with:
Karoo: The Wings of The Pirate Duck King. I want Karoo to get a fucking Jetpack. Against all odds, this beautiful Water Fowl fouled up Crocodile's Alabasta schemes, by literally flying, despite being a flightless bird. I like that moxie. Hey, Lilith: give that fucking Duck a Jetpack, he's earned it.
Carrot: Seastone... Paw... Claw... Gauntlets... I think Carrot's going to get a Devil Fruit, too, Monet's Fruit. Either way, I could see Carrot getting Claw Gauntlets for her feet, too.
Tama: Seastone not needed, Tama to stronk to begin with (yeah it's gonna be a Seastone Ninja Blade and Seastone Shurikens). Tama's ability to control any animal in the series (except possibly ones with strong enough Haki) makes her already fairly dangerous as a glass cannon type beast tamer.
Momo: As said before, Momo will forge his own blade, to surpass his father, Oden.
Yamato: Saving the best for last, Yamato will get either a Seastone Kanabo and Katana, or a Seastone Kanabo that has a hidden Katana inside it Yamato can unveil when going full Samurai. After everything she's been through because of their jobbing, I will be furious if the Scabbards don't teach Yamato Oden Swordplay. As long as the handle isn't Seastone, Yamato can easily lift large Seastone Weapons using her Oni strength.
Entirely possible that Yamato abandons her Kanabo, too, seeing it as a remnant of her abusive childhood, since she's had one since she was young, and Kaido clearly taught her how to use it based on her fighting style.
If Yamato does abandon her Kanabo, I see her getting two large Katanas and adopting Oden's two sword style, with some Raimei Hakke and other Kaido/Oni tricks sprinkled in. Since Yamato is a strong Haki fighter, I can also see Loki/other Giants teaching her techniques like Linlin's Ikoku Sovereignty (to begin with, I believe Linlin learned Ikoku Sovereignty from Linlin).
Loki: Loki's as strong as Tama, he doesn't need Seastone. Also, I don't even know if they can MAKE a Seastone Weapon/Armor big enough for him. So, I'm betting the "Loki being able to Shapeshift into Luffy size via his Devil Fruit" theory is possible. If it's real, Loki's getting a Seastone weapon that's human size, and Ragnir will be his large weapon. There has to be some limit to the weapon warping bullshit we've seen with Enma via Zoro/Oden. If Ragnir just turns into an Usopp sized Hammer, I think I might scream a bit.
The people of Wano are actually dumber and more ignorant than the Celstial Dragons in some areas due to their isolationism/false sense of superiority.
The reason the WG feared Wano WAS SEASTONE. Before Vegapunk came around, the Marines just couldn't get enough ships through the Calm Belt/Grandline to threaten Wano. Once Vegapunk started researching that technology, Kaido, who knew Scien, shows up. Why? Kaido learned from Queen what Vegapunk's tech was like (also why Orochi asked for Vegapunk).
Kaido knew that Vegapunk being a fucking psychopath and giving the WG all the tech they wanted was going to blow up in the world's face. IMO, Kaido took over Wano before the WG could. How many Admirals does it take to take out Oden and the Scabbards? 2?
Once Vegapunk gave the WG access to cross the Calm Belt, disenfranchised people like the Kuja and Wano were always going to get fucked.
So, the solution to the Scabbard's problems is obvious: use what you got. You're the Nation that forges Seastone. JUST. DO. IT.
The Scabbards with Seastone CAN ACTUALLY CAUSE KAIDO AND LINLIN PROBLEMS. THEY CAN ACTUALLY FIGHT ADMIRALS. They are fast enough and strong enough to fight them, it's their tech that's weak.

Oden's Journal Teaches Momo the Secret Arts of Seastone
This will allow Sukiyaki to redeem himself: by teaching Momo to be a Bladesmith, Sukiyaki will arm his country, and make them able to defend against the WG.
At first, I wanted Momo to get Enma back, but, I don't think his personality is right for Enma. This allows Momo to forge his own Sword, while also using Ame no Habakiri, Oden's other blade; allowing Momo to be like his father, but also be his own man.
Straw Hat Seastone Armaments: Momonosuke's Gift to the Crew
Momo's a loyal, good dude (despite being a perverted coward, like many of us when we're younger): he will want to repay the Straw Hats. Well, his country is the only country in One Piece that can produce Seastone to such an extent. And now that Momo has Oden's Journal, he can learn the true art of forging Seastone Weapons/Armor.
As a result, all of the Strawhats will receive Seastone Armaments.
Luffy: Seastone Sandals (bottom lining). Luffy's most consistent character apparel features are his Straw Hat #1, then Sandals #2. Obviously, Luffy's not letting anyone touch the Hat. But, the shoes? Why not. Luffy uses a LOT of kicking attacks, and can twist his body to block DF Attacks with his Sandals. This will also let him pierce through high level Logia attacks with kicks. I could also see Luffy getting Seastone boxing gloves, with Long Ring Long Land somehow being the dumbest foreshadowing of all time.
Zoro: Seastone Compass Seastone Sword. This one is too obvious. Zoro having an Anti-DF fuck you sword hits him well and gives him more blades to work with. I think Zoro will end up using his feet, too, an adopt a five blade style with Wado in his mouth, Enma and Shusui in his hands, and Nidai Kitetsu and Momo's Gift Blade.
Sanji: Seastone knives. Sanji's already fought with knives before, against Wanze in the Enies Lobby Sea Train. Sanji's Raid Suit is already strong enough (he'll get one from Lilith), and adding Seastone would make it heavy, which fucks with Sanji's movement. Sanji getting short knives allows him to fight with his hands without damaging them (+ his Exoskeleton). With the Germa tech he has, Sanji has no excuse to not use his hands in combat. They'll heal up no matter what. Sanji just punching people is boring, though: Sanji being a dual-knife wielder who sometimes throws his knives harkens back to him dual-wielding pistols in his concept art. CoC will allow Sanji to kick Women without touching them/hurting them: what he needs now is to be able to do something with his hands.
Usopp: Seastone bullets. Usopp's already pretty strong as a sniper, he just needs to: A, add Armament Haki to his shots, and, B, gets stronger rounds. Plants can only do so much against Ancient Zoans. Interesting if Usopp finds a way to have plants that utilize Seastone in their biology, though. Usopp's Kabuto needs to be able to bend for his shots. It can be Seastone tipped, but it needs to be made out of a flexible material for it's base.
Nami: Seastone Climatact. This one speaks for itself. Nami's Climatact would become incredibly versatile, even with just a Seastone tipped end, like Smoker's Jitter. If Oda doesn't go this route, due to Seastone not conducting electricity well or something, Nami could also use a Seastone Waver (which she could use Vegapunk's Island AC technology to ride Zeus on), or Seastone armor, to help protect her and deal with her natural fragility as a combatant. Hope Oda surprise me here. Maybe a little Seastone Robot Zeus can live in?
Chopper: Seastone Antleer covers with Leather internals, so Chopper isn't affected. Chopper's greatest weapons are his horns and hooves. Reindeer Hoove Shoes, like Horseshoes, are also possible.
Robin: Seastone artificial nails. I thought about lipstick, some chain stuff, even a fucking gun, but Robin's combat style is grapple based. Digging into her enemies with artificial nails, or even weapons like Blackbeards Tekokagi claws. Robin is a stealth based fighter, as well, so she'd want something smaller to keep on her hidden. Razor sharp finger nails/claw based weapons fit that nicely. Maybe something like the Assassin's Creed Wrist Blades? Something sneaky.
Franky: Armor upgrades to base body as well as Franky Shogun. I think the Franky Shogun will also get some Adam Wood upgrades, but, they'd need to be internal, because of the fire/lightning weakness. Franky's Cyborg Body, and Shogun being formed from Seastone will make him an actual menace to evil societies. He's already bulky, with Seastone Armor and other Armaments, Franky will become the ultimate Battle Franky Tank Man.
Brook: Seastonetipped sword. Unlike Zoro, Brook relies heavily on speed. For this reason, I think making a sword with an edge of Seastone, rather than a whole blade, is superior: same functionality, but with less durability/weight. Gives Brook the defense he needs, on top of offense, without losing speed.
Jinbe: Uh... Sea... Seastone lined Sandals??? Yeah, I know, that was Luffy's I'm kind of stumped here. Maybe Seastone Knuckles? Oh wait... NVM, we back. Yeah, Seastone Knuckles, like Brass Knuckles. Okay. Sonic furry reference insert here.
Vivi: Seastone Peacock Slashers. Erybody get back, the Peacock Slashers are back, and Vivi's going whickety whack and slashing off Celestial Dragon fingers when they get handsy. Now, though, Vivi will be able to extend the length of the slashers, so that they can function as short range weapons, or long range weapons. Vivi's new CoA learned from training to rejoin the Crew someday, will allow her to slice the ground itself apart with her Peacock Slashers. Combine this with:
Karoo: The Wings of The Pirate Duck King. I want Karoo to get a fucking Jetpack. Against all odds, this beautiful Water Fowl fouled up Crocodile's Alabasta schemes, by literally flying, despite being a flightless bird. I like that moxie. Hey, Lilith: give that fucking Duck a Jetpack, he's earned it.
Carrot: Seastone... Paw... Claw... Gauntlets... I think Carrot's going to get a Devil Fruit, too, Monet's Fruit. Either way, I could see Carrot getting Claw Gauntlets for her feet, too.
Tama: Seastone not needed, Tama to stronk to begin with (yeah it's gonna be a Seastone Ninja Blade and Seastone Shurikens). Tama's ability to control any animal in the series (except possibly ones with strong enough Haki) makes her already fairly dangerous as a glass cannon type beast tamer.
Momo: As said before, Momo will forge his own blade, to surpass his father, Oden.
Yamato: Saving the best for last, Yamato will get either a Seastone Kanabo and Katana, or a Seastone Kanabo that has a hidden Katana inside it Yamato can unveil when going full Samurai. After everything she's been through because of their jobbing, I will be furious if the Scabbards don't teach Yamato Oden Swordplay. As long as the handle isn't Seastone, Yamato can easily lift large Seastone Weapons using her Oni strength.
Entirely possible that Yamato abandons her Kanabo, too, seeing it as a remnant of her abusive childhood, since she's had one since she was young, and Kaido clearly taught her how to use it based on her fighting style.
If Yamato does abandon her Kanabo, I see her getting two large Katanas and adopting Oden's two sword style, with some Raimei Hakke and other Kaido/Oni tricks sprinkled in. Since Yamato is a strong Haki fighter, I can also see Loki/other Giants teaching her techniques like Linlin's Ikoku Sovereignty (to begin with, I believe Linlin learned Ikoku Sovereignty from Linlin).
Loki: Loki's as strong as Tama, he doesn't need Seastone. Also, I don't even know if they can MAKE a Seastone Weapon/Armor big enough for him. So, I'm betting the "Loki being able to Shapeshift into Luffy size via his Devil Fruit" theory is possible. If it's real, Loki's getting a Seastone weapon that's human size, and Ragnir will be his large weapon. There has to be some limit to the weapon warping bullshit we've seen with Enma via Zoro/Oden. If Ragnir just turns into an Usopp sized Hammer, I think I might scream a bit.

The people of Wano are actually dumber and more ignorant than the Celstial Dragons in some areas due to their isolationism/false sense of superiority.
The reason the WG feared Wano WAS SEASTONE. Before Vegapunk came around, the Marines just couldn't get enough ships through the Calm Belt/Grandline to threaten Wano. Once Vegapunk started researching that technology, Kaido, who knew Scien, shows up. Why? Kaido learned from Queen what Vegapunk's tech was like (also why Orochi asked for Vegapunk).
Kaido knew that Vegapunk being a fucking psychopath and giving the WG all the tech they wanted was going to blow up in the world's face. IMO, Kaido took over Wano before the WG could. How many Admirals does it take to take out Oden and the Scabbards? 2?
Once Vegapunk gave the WG access to cross the Calm Belt, disenfranchised people like the Kuja and Wano were always going to get fucked.
So, the solution to the Scabbard's problems is obvious: use what you got. You're the Nation that forges Seastone. JUST. DO. IT.
The Scabbards with Seastone CAN ACTUALLY CAUSE KAIDO AND LINLIN PROBLEMS. THEY CAN ACTUALLY FIGHT ADMIRALS. They are fast enough and strong enough to fight them, it's their tech that's weak.

The WG has reigned as the Supreme Pirates, because of their Technologic, Military, and Economic dominance.
Wano producing cheap Seastone with Vegapunk's help and selling it world wide allows:
A: The Calm Belt to be travelled freely, destroying the borders the Grand Line creates between the Blues
B: Any well trained army the ability to fight back against the Marines' Tyranny using Seastone
C: The ability to combat Devil Fruit users like Akainu when they try to blow up your whole island like Ohara
D: Much sturdier shelter/ships to deal with the upcoming flooding.

The Marines are just too weak to be the EOS villains. They'll become allies, 3rd parties, or dissolve into the WG.

I think only Haki can truly defeat them. Imu just showed up and blew the hand off a dude, Broggy, who blocked Warcury, who Gear 5 couldn't punch through.
