You guys are blind. As long as he has basic CoA in general even without the ability to harden himself. He does not need it. The dude is literally attacks with "iron/metal" imagine him using hardening on top of every bit of scrap... His attacks is already heavy enough. As for why he does not show hardening. Well he could be a fraud after all but comon metals and basic haki is enough for him let him be lol.

I would argue that he has hardening but he can't use "Ryou/Flow" which is why he can't coat his metals/irons.

What's the point of hardening scrap metal, its already hard, and its not like he needs to keep it from chipping or getting damaged.

What's the point of wasting energy on it though, it's like a logia but with metal, soon as it gets sliced he can just reattach it at any time.
Seems like just expending haki for no reason. Unless he's actively attacking with Ryou or Acoc, just seems pointless.
