Shanks find the axolotl Devil Fruit from Punk Hazard?

I was just thinking that Mihawk when talking to shanks mentioned that he is not worth fighting ever since he lost his arm. The arm was a major part of Luffy's past obvious and might be stupid of me to think of this from a narrative standpoint but what if shanks find the axolotl devil fruit. axolotl in the wild are known as a creature that can grow entire limbs back. I think that the rebirth of the axolotl fruit was not just too show the cycle of devil fruits but to show the audience that this fruit is now back in the cycle for someone else to use. If I remember shanks became a yonka post losing his arm, and this means that even though he lost an arm he was still strong enough to become one of the strongest people on the sea, but what if somehow he would be able to regain his lost arm. I may be wrong but, I don't remember off the top of my head writing this post but, it was either implied that shanks duel wielded, or it might have been a theory.

That would definitely be a cool scene, and I think that's a really interesting connection to make. I don't personally think it'll happen, since the loss of Shanks' arm holds such heavy significance for both the character and the series as a whole, but it would definitely be cool to get the chance to see him fighting at 100%. That said, losing an arm probably didn't actually cause that much of a decrease in skill since like you said, he became a Yonko after the fact. I imagine Mihawk just doesn't like the idea of fighting a one-armed man, since if he won it wouldn't be a great look.

Yah just what I thought it leads me to think how a fight between shanks and Blackbeard would go since shanks fought Blackbeard before losing his arm though. I do realize that he became a yonko after the fact but, losing an arm is a big deal no matter how it betrayed. It might have not hindered his ability to become a yonko but, all the same, I think it would be nonsense to conclude it didn't have an impact on his abilities. It seems to me on the other hand Oda likes to betray people who would otherwise be at a disadvantage, as powerhouses. Just look at someone like rayleigh he is an old man who almost pushes 80 years of age and Kyros who only had one leg, but could still fight extraordinarily good. This would also go for people like whitebeard who was not only old but, in critical condition, and was still thought by the world to be the strongest man. Though you might look at these people as people who are no longer in their prime but are still maintaining what strength they have left and that strength is still something to behold.
