I don't know man.You don't leave someone as strong as Shanks alive to get revenge on you.I want to see Shanks alive to see Luffy become PK.But i think there are a couple of death flags on him.

Teach also has Gura , and i guess he could still absorb Shanks' CoC slashes/attacks with Yami , even tho he won't be able to pull Shanks' body and de-activate his power like he did Ace , since Shanks is not a DF user .
But Shanks will give a fierce fight for sure ( high/extreme diff ) , to Teach with Gura + Yami .
And then i guess Teach will eat his 3rd DF ( a Mythical Zoan ) , where then it'll go downhill for the Red Emperor .
Don't think it'll be bad to lose to someone who has 3 DFs ..... one of the strongest Logias , one of the strongest Paramecias ,
and ( probably ) one of the strongest Zoans .
But Shanks will give a fierce fight for sure ( high/extreme diff ) , to Teach with Gura + Yami .

For me i don't hate him , i just don't care about him . Don't want him to be the Final Villain .
I want the World Government/Marines to be the Final Villains .
So much more exciting if they are - they have several top-tiers , the Blackbeard Pirates just don't have them .
It's past 1000 chapters and we still know nothing about the powers of Kong , Gorosei , Imu . That's insane .
But Kong could have Sun Wukong Mythical Zoan , prime Shodai Kitetsu Gorosei could be a top-tier , and Imu could be Uranus .
The World Government was also the group that defeated Joy Boy + Ancient Kingdom , and have stood at the top for 800 years .
The Blackbeard Pirates is a fledgling group compared to that .
Is anyone going to take Pluton or Poseidon anyway ?
Poseidon - I think Teach taking Shirahoshi won't do him any good , may just backfire infact . She will just cry for help , which may summon the Sea Kings to attack the Blackbeard Pirates .
Pluton - Wano can't be destroyed , and if Teach were to take Pluton , he will cause serious damages to Wano with at least Gura .
Besides , how is RHP gonna stand up to Blackbeard Pirates if they have one of Pluton/Poseidon anyway ?
Unless Oda is planning to assist the RHP with Cross Guild .
