Shanks haki being equal to old WB level is hilarious because of one non hostile clash where he held back is hilarious lmfao. You’re genuinely delusional if you think current Shanks won’t be able to do anything to Loki. You’re being far too carried away by the hype acting like he can low diff every top tier. But I do find it hilarious how the same fanbase that has been arguing against Shanks’s importance compared to a certain character who hasn’t done anything since east blue is suddenly using “but he’s too important” as a cheap cop out against every character. Truly a disgusting fanbase
They can’t admit Loki has the best portrayal among a non god tier in the verse and can’t even use the sword excuse to leech anymore. The latter part pains them.

Whereas old WB and Kaido were considered stronger pirates than shanks. Unlike loki shanks is extremely well known pirate.
Setting this aside both luffy and gaban confirm imu's haki being far above anything they have witnessed till date which includes shanks and nerfed loki is matching and enduring such high level haki attacks from imu and has yet to even use his hybrid mode.
Nemesis alone should be far above anything shanks can dish out.

Yes (although Loki was logically even more of a newbie). But this also shows Shanks isn't an infallible symbol of strenght like some other manga characters that authors never ever make look bad even as a toddler.
Another mangaka would have had 26 yo Shanks stunt Harald with a COC burst and temporarily cut the connection with Imu so Loki could defeat him. (With Imu sweating heavily wondering whose haki it was afterward)
