He's against Blackbeard because he's destabilizing force and exploit chaos, which is why he started making moves now that two emperors are defeated


He's upholding the status quo until Joy Boy arrives


He was always being portrayed as a good guy.

Why are people pretending Him playing 4D chess, turning 180° and be evil is a good thing?

I am fine with shanks being a good guy. And its not like shanks needs to be pure evil. He can be obstacle to luffy without being evil. But him being a master mind villain would be interesting also.
