Controversial Shanks or Shamrock

For some reason the one piece wiki and many fans are saying this is Shamrock and not Shanks meeting with the gorosei but the dialog spoken doesn't make since for it to be Shamrock

And in chapter 907 where this meeting takes place all point to this being shanks

1. They said he came a long way for the meeting - doesn't Shamrock live on Mariejose? Why would Shamrock need to come a long way? They're literally neighbors

2. They said someone of his status shouldn't get involved with politics, Shamrock is a holy knight his job quite literally revolves around politics and enforcing the status quo.

3. They said because of who he is they accepted his request- this line may be why people think it's Shamrock, but Sengoku said the same thing in Marineford, and with his connections to The figarland family it wouldn't be hard for someone of Shanks status to be able to arrange a meeting, remember Shanks chose to go back to being a pirate it's not like he was disowned

With all that said, The person meeting with the gorosei here is Shanks and not Shamrock

Another thing why this is clearly Shanks, why would Shamrock wanna talk to The gorosei about a certain pirate?

Many people think this is Shamrock and he was talking about Loki when he said a certain pirate

But go back and read the dialog in chapter 1136 and 1138

Loki didn't know who Shamrock was, Shamrock said he got Intel about Loki and Loki was shocked Shamrock looked like Shanks

So clearly this was the first time they met meaning if that was Shamrock meeting the gorosei he couldn't have been referring to Loki when he said a certain pirate and if Loki was the pirate he was referring to then that man couldn't have been anyone except for Shanks given that Loki and Shanks not only met but fought before

Could be either IMO, I think it depends on if the pirate was BB or Luffy. But Shamrock seems a bit likelier to me rn.

Unless Shanks has a secret third sibling named Shastasaurus or some shit.

It has to be Shamrock at this point, as we know he is wearing the hoodie. Some of the things about it are awkward, but I guess it was because Oda didn't want to make it too obvious

Between the two it makes more sense he's referring to BB, they already know about Luffys fruit, they already know who his family is and they already know pretty much everything there is to know about Luffy

But black beard is such a mystery and enigma that they likely don't know much about him at all

I think there's evidence that bb is the son of xebec but that's a blog for a different day

I mean it's just a cloak tbh not really hard to come by and true Shamrock certainly could have heard about Loki at some point but even so would he need to arrange a meeting with the gorosei or come in wearing a cloak? Yeah you could say Oda didn't wanna reveal him just yet but idk it being Shamrock is less and less likely with everything we're learning

This was meant to be shanks imo. It makes more sense for the dialogue also. But it can be retconned to shamrock.

Harald, Loki's father is secretly working with WG judging by Sommers dialog in chapter 1146 that refers to Elbaph becoming WG's merchanaries. After Halard's death, Loki was sailed to the sea and became pirate and isnt Loki has special bounty?
