I have a theory, when they defeated the Rocks pirates they created the Yonko. If you’re not gonna properly watch the show @Finalbeta don’t watch or read at all.

about Shanks
son of Rocks fits for Teach more perfectly .... but Shanks have also foreshadow of that as well and Rocks.D.Shanks was my theory among all fandom to being with ... so ....
son of Imu maybe that's better for Shanks plot ....
but him being from west blue ...
I don't mind if he be son of a normal family ... but doubt Oda would do that ....

A seasoned, evil (D. Hunter). He knows the potential Luffy/Teach possess and is playing them like chess pawns. He only encouraged Luffy to become pirate so that he and Teach rival each other (taking down Whitebeard, Kaido and Meme in the process) while Shanks sits back and cleans the mess... "The D. always brings trouble" Shanks tried to stop Ace from following Teach to help Teach boost his strength even more, and prevented Kaido from helping WB so that Teach successfully takes the Yonko's power and usurp his place. And if you think about it, the only reason why Teach and Luffy managed to escape alive from Marineford was because Shanks stopped the war...
So that the two Ds can continue doing the dirty work for Shanks in the future...

I'm also along on the idea that Buggy and Shanks were both kinda related to the God Valley thing... kinda fits with Rayleigh (?) saying he hasn't seen a baby in a long time when he saw Oden's two kids...

It's just that him and the Gorosei have common ground, and the Gorosei are aware that Shanks isn't after the throne... he's just protecting it... something that's also advantageous to the Gorosei...
And Shanks knows Blackbeard's potential threat... and that he's growing stronger by the minute... and for all we know, the guy just doesn't want BB's asshole-smelling hands near Roger's treasure... so ofc he goes and tells that shit to the Gorosei.. a bunch of old, retired folk who doesn't want anyone touch that thing.
It's mutualism, basically.
