It make all sense lol...BB was always strong.
Ace thought BB should be the YC instead of him not just based on seniority (since there were many seniors present in the crew) but he was legit strong..
When BB had fight with Shanks both could have been around YC1 level .
BB was hiding under WB , and after his death BB raised to Yanko level..so BB was always strong..
It's just that his path was different than Shanks.
People who underestimated Shanks because of BB..this new info about him in film Red debunk them..

Shanks was already above the likes of Kata/King
I think he was on the same tier as Yamato or even stronger back then with ACOC

Agreed. I see no reason to downplay WSS title either, as Zoro's final opponent, Mihawk is among the farthest guys from being a weakling.

When we say Teach was YC level ...Yami Teach > Marco/King

Teach being YC level doesn't change the fact Young Shanks wasn't solid top tier .

Because there wasn't another chance or if he wants to get his off his shoulders. Oda ain't going to serve a major character like Kizaru getting treated like that in a movie such as getting killed, only getting neg diff. is enough against Shanks(seeing how GB got treated in recent chapter). Lol
